Hero MotoCorp registers 3% rise in November sales

Riding on strong demand for its exciting range of products, Hero MotoCorp (HMCL), the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, has clocked over five lakhs of units of two-wheelers in the month of November. The company has registered 3.18 per cent rise in total sales at 547413 units for November 2014 as compared to 530530 units in same month previous year.

In November 2014, Hero MotoCorp also launched its operations in Colombia. The company introduced six of its best-selling motorcycles through a network of 120 outlets. The company plans to expand its distribution network to over 150 outlets in a year’s time. In the same month, Hero MotoCorp also rolled out the new sportier version of its 150-ccmotorcycle - ‘Xtreme’.

Hero MotoCorp is the World’s single largest two-wheeler motorcycle company. Honda Motor Company of Japan and the Hero Group entered a joint venture to setup Hero Honda Motors in 1984. Hero Honda Motors changed its name to Hero MotoCorp following the exit of its erstwhile Japanese promoter, Honda, from the company.
