Kotak Mahindra Bank has reported results for the quarter ended December 31, 2011.
The bank’s net profit for the quarter ended December 31, 2011 has surged by 46.95% at Rs 276.08 crore as compared to Rs 187.87 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2010. Bank’s total Income has increased by 47.42% at Rs 1922.94 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 1304.41 crore for the December quarter of the previous fiscal.
On consolidated basis, the Group’s profit after tax for the quarter grew by 20.61% at Rs 462.63 crore as compared to Rs 383.56 crore for the December quarter of the year 2010. Its total income has increased by 16.88% at Rs 3123.31 crore for Q3FY11 from Rs 2672.14 crore for the Q3FY10.
