Gujarat Industries Power Company’s Surat Lignite Power Plant (SLPP) has tripped due to a technical snag in the Stator Winding of the Generator, Unit - 1 (125MW). The repairing work of damaged stator winding has been initiated in consultation with the experts from BHEL (the OEM). The Company expects the said Unit to be re-started before end of December 2014. The said plant is located at Village Nani Naroli, Taluka Mangrol in Surat.
