Maruti Suzuki reports 25% rise in November production

Maruti Suzuki India, country’s largest car maker, has reported 24.99% rise in its production to 117,370 units in November 2014 as compared to 93,900 units in same month last year. Of total, the company has manufactured a 42,964 vehicles under mini segment (including Alto, A Star, Wagon R), up by 1.83%, as against 42,188 vehicles manufactured in corresponding month previous year.

The company has manufactured 46,414 vehicles under compact segment, 7,515 vehicles under super compact, midsize and executive class segment, 8,292 units under utility vehicles segment and 12,185 units under vans category.

Recently, the company has registered a rise of 19.50% in its total car sales (Domestic + Export) for the month of November 2014 at 110147 units, as against 92140 units in November 2013. The company’s domestic sales rose by 17% in November 2014 at 100024 units, as against 85510 units in corresponding month last year.
