Jain Irrigation Systems trades in pink of its health on BSE

Jain Irrigation Systems is currently trading at Rs. 68.15, up by 2.30 points or 3.49 % from its previous closing of Rs. 65.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 68.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 69.95 and Rs. 67.35 respectively. So far 1550329 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 133.45 on 08-Jul-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 56.45 on 26-Feb-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 80.50 and Rs. 63.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3019.86 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 28.69 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 50.99 % and 20.06 % respectively.

Jain Irrigation’s food processing division has reportedly grown at a CAGR of 15 per cent in the last five years and is targeted to grow to Rs 900 crore in FY15, with exports pegged at Rs 600 crore. The revenue stood at Rs 663 crore and exports at Rs 418 crore in FY14.

Jain Irrigation is the largest onion and vegetable processor in the country and the second largest in the world with two units in India and one in the USA. It is also India's largest processor of fruits and the world's leading mango processor, with three manufacturing facilities in India.
