Tata Power Delhi Distribution (TPDDL) has been conferred with Corporate Social Responsibility Awards at Platts Global Energy Award, 2014, which is one of the most prestigious awards in the Energy Sector. A total of more 200 nominations were received from more than 25 countries including Brazil, India, Russia, Switzerland, China, Thailand, United Kingdom and the United States among others. TPDDL was declared winner from a list of 12 finalists who were shortlisted for the final round.
TPDDL has been acknowledged with CSR awards for its comprehensive efforts for uplifting the lives of economically backward section of society. The company operates more than 290 Adult Women Literacy Centre, Vocational Training Centre, Tutorial Classes, Drug De-addiction camps and mobile dispensary among others.
