Essel Propack surges on plan to merge EP Lamitubes with itself

Essel Propack is currently trading at Rs. 127.10, up by 2.40 points or 1.92% from its previous closing of Rs. 124.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 126.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 129.20 and Rs. 125.25 respectively. So far 1420 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B ' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 138.70 on 03-Dec-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 46.50 on 04-Feb-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 129.20 and Rs. 112.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1959.05 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 59.93% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 12.75% and 27.32% respectively.

Essel Propack has received an approval for the scheme of amalgamation of EP Lamitubes, the wholly owned subsidiary of Essel Propack with Essel Propack and their respective shareholders. The High Court at Bombay has approved the scheme of amalgamation at its hearing held on December 19, 2014.
