CMI surges on bagging orders worth Rs 12.13 crore

CMI is currently trading at Rs. 74.50, up by 1.55 points or 2.12% from its previous closing of Rs. 72.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 74.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 76.40 and Rs. 72.50 respectively. So far 36856 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 76.40 on 23-Dec-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 8.33 on 06-Jan-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 76.40 and Rs. 59.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 78.43 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.45% while Non-Institutions held 53.55% stake in the company.

CMI has received order for supply of 6 Quad 0.9mm dia cable on November 15, 2014 for 428.308 Kms for total value of Rs 10.38 crore and further order for unscreened Power Cable 2Cx25 Sq. mm. Received on December 04, 2014 for 163.883 kms for total value of Rs 1.75 crore from Controller of Stores, Northern Railways, Baroda House, New Delhi, both aggregating to Rs 12.13 crore.

The company will start the delivery during this week and complete the execution of the order in next quarter.

CMI diversified its activities by setting up facilities for the manufacture of Dry Core Telecommunication Cables.
