Indo Borax & Chemicals to increase production capacity of Pithampur plant

Indo Borax & Chemicals has received an approval to increase the existing production capacity of boron products (Boric Acid/Borax) by 5,600 M.T. per annum at plant at Pithampur in state of Madhya Pradesh. The board of directors at their meeting held on December 27, 2014 has approved for the same.

With this expansion, installed production capacity will increase by 38.89% from existing 14,400 MT per annum to 20,000 MT per annum. The total cost of project is estimated at Rs 7.00 crore. The cost will be finance through internal accruals.

Indo Borax & Chemicals operates a most modern Boric Acid and Borax plant at Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh. The plant also enjoys the approval of Food and Drug Administration for manufacturing pharmaceutical grade of Boric Acid.
