United Bank of India has informed that Ministry of Finance vide letter dated December 31, 2014 has appointed P. Srinivas as the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of the Bank with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post up to the age of superannuation (June 30, 2016) or until further order, whichever is earlier. Prior to this appointment, Srinivas was the Executive Director of Bank of Baroda. Srinivas will be assuming charge as Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer later on date.
