Canara Bank wins 3 MSME awards

Canara Bank has bagged three awards at the annual flagship event ‘MSME Banking Excellence Awards-2014’ organized by Chamber of Indian Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (CIMSME).

The bank has been adjudged as the ‘Best Bank Award-Winner’ among other awards. The awards were presented to the bank on the occasion at an event in Delhi.

Last year in November, the bank had entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Micro Energy Credits Corporation to finance bank customers buying energy efficient ‘green’ products such as cook stoves, solar home systems, biogas digestors and water purifiers.
