Kajaria Ceramics rises on reporting 55% rise in Q3 consolidated net profit

Kajaria Ceramics is currently trading at Rs. 637.00, up by 15.70 points or 2.53% from its previous closing of Rs. 621.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 629.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 644.60 and Rs. 622.20 respectively. So far 75639 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 690.05 on 29-Sep-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 291.00 on 17-Jan-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 640.00 and Rs. 593.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5070.12 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 49.54 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 27.53 % and 22.92 % respectively.

Kajaria Ceramics has registered a rise of 58.57% in its net profit at Rs 45.29 crore in Q3FY15 as compared to Rs 28.56 crore in the corresponding quarter previous year. The total income of the company has increased by 30.19% to Rs 569.54 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 437.74 crore in the same quarter last year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 55.18% rise in its net profit at Rs 45.61 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 29.39 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 30.10% at Rs 556.45 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 427.7 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2013.
