Future & Option (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 2,21,575.34 crore on January 14 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 94,72,478.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 17,003.68 crore, Stock Futures Rs 22,945.32 crore and Index Options Rs 1,69,502.10 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 12,124.24 crore.
For the day, the total F&O PutCall ratio stood 1.10, while Index Options PutCall ratio was 1.13 and that of Stock Options was 0.56.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were HUL (1.52), BHEL (1.36), Ultratech Cement (1.31), Maruti Suzuki (1.17) and Century Textiles & Industries (1.12).
Among most active underlying, Yes Bank witnessed an addition of 0.80 million of Open Interest in the January month futures contract, followed by Infosys witnessing a contraction of 0.26 million of Open Interest in the January month contract; Hindustan Unilever witnessed an addition of 0.72 million of Open Interest in the January month contract, LIC Housing Finance witnessed an addition of 0.09 million of Open Interest in the January month contract and ICICI Bank witnessed an addition of 2.68 million of Open Interest in the January month's future contract.
