DHFL strengthens on reporting 15% rise in Q3 net profit

Dewan Housing Finance Corporation is currently trading at Rs. 484.20, up by 8.20 points or 1.72% from its previous closing of Rs. 476.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 476.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 492.70 and Rs. 473.75 respectively. So far 483308 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 486.35 on 15-Jan-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 199.10 on 14-Feb-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 486.35 and Rs. 420.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6217.68 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 39.57 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 20.92 % and 39.50 % respectively.

Dewan Housing Finance Corporation (DHFL) has registered a rise of 15.36% in its net profit after tax at Rs 159.65 crore for third quarter ended December 31, 2014 as compared to Rs 138.39 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased 17.30% at Rs 1526.53 crore for Q3FY15 as compared Rs 1301.36 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Dewan Housing Finance Corporation is among the oldest private sector Housing Finance Companies (HFC) in India.
