Jet Airways flies high as FIIs increase holdings in December quarter

Jet Airways (India) is currently trading at Rs. 440.30, up by 5.90 points or 1.36% from its previous closing of Rs. 434.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 436.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 442.90 and Rs. 432.95 respectively. So far 176053 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 474.95 on 15-Jan-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 203.50 on 26-Sep-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 474.95 and Rs. 426.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4935.81 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.00% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.48% and 34.52% respectively.

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have raised their stake in Jet Airways (India) for the fourth straight quarter ended December 31, 2014. The overseas investors have hiked their stake in the company to 4.95% from 3.29% in the September 2014 quarter. Moreover, domestic institutional investors (DIIs) have also increased their stake in the company to 9.53% from 5.76% as on September 30, 2014.

Jet Airways currently operates a fleet of 116 aircraft, which include 10 Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft, 8 Airbus A330-200 aircraft, 4 Airbus A330-300 aircraft, 76 next generations Boeing 737-700/800/900/900ER aircraft and 15 ATR 72-500 and 3 ATR72-600.
