Amara Raja reports 8% rise in Q3 net profit

Amara Raja Batteries has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2014.

The company has registered a rise of 7.71% in its net profit at Rs 102.34 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 95.01 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased 23.09% at Rs 1071.15 crore for Q3FY15 as compared Rs 870.21 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Amara Raja Batteries is engaged in manufacturing of industrial and automotive batteries. It was founded in 1985. ARBL was first to introduce Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) batteries with three-year warranty in industrial and automotive applications.
