Cera Sanitaryware soars on getting nod to hike FII limit to 36%

Cera Sanitaryware is currently trading at Rs. 2154.00, up by 59.80 points or 2.86% from its previous closing of Rs. 2094.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2120.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2155.00 and Rs. 2109.95 respectively. So far 553 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2155.00 on 27-Jan-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 740.00 on 30-Jan-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2155.00 and Rs. 2051.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2675.81 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 56.19% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.35% and 25.46% respectively.

Cera Sanitaryware has received an approval to increase the aggregate limit of Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) holding in the company from 24% to 36%. The board of directors at their meeting held on January 29, 2015 has approved for the same.

Cera Sanitaryware has emerged as the third largest player in the sanitary ware industry in India. The company enjoys 24% market share in the organised segment.
