Indosolar soars on inking Wafer Supply pact with Osung LST

Indosolar is currently trading at Rs. 15.63, up by 0.55 points or 3.65% from its previous closing of Rs. 15.08 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 15.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 15.78 and Rs. 14.90 respectively. So far 1641913 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 15.78 on 30-Jan-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1.41 on 13-Mar-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 15.78 and Rs. 12.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 562.98 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 56.54% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 4.43% and 39.03% respectively.

Indosolar has signed a major Wafer Supply Contract with its strategic partner Osung LST Co., Korea. The wafer supply contract signed as a part of this $200 million agreement covers a significant portion of Indosolar’s solar photovoltaic cell demand for FY 2015-16 of 48 million wafers valued at around $45 million.

Osung LST Co, Korea will supply state-of-the-art high efficiency wafers manufactured at its South Korean facility in Chungcheonbuk-doto Indosolar, making Indosolar its key strategic partner.

Indosolar is the leading Indian manufacturer of solar photovoltaic cells. Currently, the company’s manufacturing capacity is 450 MWp with an average efficiency rating of 17.40%, peaking at 18.00%.
