Torrent Power has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2014.
The company has reported a net profit of Rs 235.34 crore for the quarter under review as compared to a net loss of Rs 41.84 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased 26.28% at Rs 2572.64 crore for Q3FY15 as compared Rs 2037.30 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On the consolidated basis the company has reported a net profit after taxes and Minority interest of Rs 68.77 crore for the Q3 FY15 as compared to a net loss of Rs 35.51 crore in Q3 FY14. Moreover, the total income increased 26.56% to Rs 2617.91 crore in the quarter under review as compared to Rs 2068.47 crore in the corresponding quarter previous year.
