SpiceJet flies high on offering another discounted ticket scheme

Spicejet is currently trading at Rs. 22.25, up by 0.25 points or 1.14% from its previous closing of Rs. 22.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 22.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 22.70 and Rs. 22.15 respectively. So far 1029088 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 24.10 on 20-Jan-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 11.10 on 13-Aug-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 23.70 and Rs. 21.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1336.77 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 53.48% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.83% and 45.69% respectively.

SpiceJet has offered another discounted ticket scheme with fares as low as Rs 1,599 across its domestic network for travel between February 15 and April 15 to celebrate Valentine’s Day. The bookings for the three day offer -- We love you with all our heart -- commenced on February 4, 2015.

This is the second sale offer from the budget carrier, which is in the process of change in management control, after SpiceJet’s board last week approved the proposal to transfer majority owner Kalanithi Maran’s entire stake in the airline to co-founder Ajay Singh as part of a revival plan.
