Gujarat Industries gains on commissioning solar power plant

Gujarat Industries Power Company is currently trading at Rs 72.95, up by 0.45 points or 0.62% from its previous closing of Rs 72.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 72.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs 73.40 and Rs 72.15 respectively. So far 4178 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 96.00 on 15-Feb-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs 64.25 on 30-Dec-2011.

Gujarat Industries Power Company has successfully commissioned its 5 MW Photovoltaic crystalline silicon modules based solar power plant at the Vastan mines of the company's Surat Lignite Power Plant (SLPP) located at Taluka Mangrol, District Surat on the January 27, 2012.
