Tata Motors enters into an agreement with Karnataka Vikas Grameena Bank: Report

Tata Motors, the country's largest automaker by revenues, has reportedly entered into an agreement with Karnataka Vikas Grameena Bank (KVGB), a regional rural bank.  Under the agreement, the bank will provide loans of up to 80 per cent of the value of Tata Motors’ vehicle to eligible borrowers for a maximum tenure of five years. At present, the bank has more than 6,020 accounts of commercial road transport operators with an outstanding balance of Rs 103 crore.

Tata Motors is India's largest automobile company, is the leader in commercial vehicles in each segment, and among the top in passenger vehicles with winning products in the compact, midsize car and utility vehicle segments. It is also the world's fourth largest truck and bus manufacturer.
