Shree Renuka Sugars rises despite reporting net loss of Rs 89.70 crore in Q3

Shree Renuka Sugars is currently trading at Rs. 15.55, up by 0.15 points or 0.97% from its previous closing of Rs. 15.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 15.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 15.75 and Rs. 15.45 respectively. So far 295709 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 31.80 on 06-Jun-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 14.90 on 10-Feb-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 15.85 and Rs. 14.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1448.95 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 55.45 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 12.87 % and 31.68 % respectively.

Shree Renuka Sugars has reported a net loss of Rs 89.70 crore for the quarter under review as compared to a net loss of Rs 193.90 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 6.52 % at Rs 1273.9 crore for Q3FY15 as compared Rs 1195.9 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Shree Renuka Sugars operates 11 sugar mills in India and Brazil with a total crushing capacity of 20.7 million tonnes per annum and two port-based refineries with sugar production capacity of 1.7 million tonnes per year.
