Apollo Hospitals inks MoU with Republic of Ghana

Apollo Hospitals has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Republic of Ghana to develop tertiary healthcare services in the African country and to provide specialized medical treatment for the country’s patients at some of the former’s facilities in India.

The company will provide high-end tertiary healthcare services at its centres in India to patients referred by Ghana’s ministry of health. Under the partnership, Apollo will assist in identifying gaps in the current healthcare facilities, including infrastructure, equipment and skills, at Korle Bu Hospital in Accra in the country’s south and other government-run hospitals in Ghana.

Apollo Hospitals is the leading private sector healthcare provider in Asia and owns and manages a network of speciality hospitals and clinics, a chain of Pharmacy retail outlets across the country, and provides Consultancy Services for commissioning and managing the Speciality Hospitals.
