Camlin Fine Sciences gains on plan to divest its entire stake in Dulcette Technologies

Camlin Fine Sciences is currently trading at Rs. 93.70, up by 0.75 points or 0.81% from its previous closing of Rs. 92.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 94.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 95.00 and Rs. 93.15 respectively. So far 12471 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 105.00 on 04-Feb-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 11.95 on 18-Feb-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 98.00 and Rs. 91.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 896.59 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 52.25% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.54% and 47.21% respectively.

Camlin Fine Sciences has decided to divest its entire shareholding of $76,000 in its subsidiary namely Dulcette Technologies LLC, USA for a consideration of $10. The consideration has been fixed by the valuers on the basis of latest financials of the said subsidiary company.

The subsidiary did not make any positive contribution to the turnover and assets of the company during the last financial year. The shares in the aforesaid subsidiary are being purchased by Viachem LLC, USA by virtue of an agreement dated February 10, 2015.

Camlin Fine Chemicals is the world's second largest manufacturer and marketer of food grade antioxidants TBHQ and BHA.
