Shiva Cement’s Khatkurbahal limestone mines located in Orrisa has been awarded second prize in ‘Air Quality Management’ during 14th Mines Environment & Mineral Conservation Week 2011-12 under the Aegis of Indian Bureau of Mines, Government of India.
Last year in November, Shiva Cement’s Khatkurbahal limestone mines had been awarded first prize in ‘Best General Working’ and ‘Best Overall Performance’ on the occasion of 49th Mines Safety Week Celebration - 2011, Chaibasa Region under Directorate General of Mines Safety, Ministry of Labour, Government of India.
Shiva Cement is engaged in manufacturing of cement and allied products. Its plants are located at Kalunga and Sundargarh in Orissa. The company has a combined installed capacity of 177,000 tonnes per annum.
