Hero MotoCorp reports 4% fall in February total sales

Hero MotoCorp, the country’s largest two-wheeler maker has reported a decline of 3.85% in total sales at 484,769 units in February 2015 as against 504,181 units sold in the same month last year. The company is set to launch a slew of new models in coming months, including a range of scooters.

Hero MotoCorp is the World’s single largest two-wheeler motorcycle company. Honda Motor Company of Japan and the Hero Group entered a joint venture to setup Hero Honda Motors in 1984. Hero Honda Motors changed its name to Hero MotoCorp following the exit of its erstwhile Japanese promoter, Honda, from the company.
