Jaypee Infratech gains on reporting marginal growth in Q3 net profit

Jaypee Infratech is currently trading at Rs. 45.40, up by 1.95 points or 4.29% from its previous closing of Rs. 45.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 46.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 47.55 and Rs. 46.25 respectively. So far 93,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 67.40 on 07-Apr-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 33.00 on 22-Dec-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 47.55 and Rs. 42.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6,583.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 83.27% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 9.49% and 7.24% respectively.

The company has posted a rise of 3.58% in its net profit of Rs 392.07 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011 as compared to Rs 378.51 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 19.77% from Rs 756.43 crore for Q3FY11 to Rs 905.98 crore in the quarter under review.
