Bajaj Auto has unveiled Bajaj Platina electric start. Two wheeler manufacturer claims it to be the most fuel efficient bike in 100 cc segment to deliver 96.9 kmpl as per ARAI testing.

Priced at Rs 44,272 (ex-showroom price), the new bike is designed to appeal to the long-distance commuter. It comes with a new long travel telescopic front suspension and SNS (double spring) rear suspension, a long wheelbase, three inch wide rear tyres and electric start.

Bajaj Auto is a $2.3 billion company founded in 1926. It is world’s fourth largest two and three-wheeler manufacturer. Bajaj Auto has three plants in all, two at Waluj and Chakan in Maharashtra and one plant at Pant Nagar in Uttaranchal.
