Vijaya Bank to start lending corporate and mid-corporates: Report

Vijaya Bank is reportedly planning to start lending corporate and mid-corporates from the second half of next fiscal, depending upon the revival of the economy. The Bank is expecting revival in the economy by second quarter of next fiscal and corporates and mid-corporates business should also start reviving.

During the next two quarters, the Bank will continue to focus on the MSME, MSE and retail credits besides agriculture and other priority sectors, but in the second half of the next fiscal year, depending upon the revival of the economy, the Bank will start participating in the corporate and the mid corporate projects.

Vijaya Bank, the Karnataka-based bank offers various products and services specific to various segments such as it has saving accounts for children, scheme for women clientele, credit facilities to minority communities like Zoroastrians, Buddhists are among others.
