Brigade Enterprises shines as its arm enters into share purchase agreement with HUL

Brigade Enterprises is currently trading at Rs. 139.70, up by 4.40 points or 3.25% from its previous closing of Rs. 135.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 135.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 142.30 and Rs. 135.00 respectively. So far 16359 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B ' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 179.60 on 02-Feb-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 56.30 on 25-Mar-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 149.00 and Rs. 133.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1598.70 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 57.46% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 7.61% and 34.92% respectively.

Brigade Enterprises’ subsidiary - Brigade Properties, has entered into share purchase agreement with Hindustan Unilever (HUL) based on which it has acquired HUL’s 100% stake in Brooke Bond Real Estates. Brooke Bond Real Estates will develop an IT SEZ of over 3 million square feet.

Due to this, Brooke Bond Real Estates has become a wholly owned subsidiary of Brigade Properties, a Brigade Group company, and a step down subsidiary of the company with immediate effect.

Brigade Properties is a joint venture between the listed entity Brigade Enterprises and GIC, Singapore.
