Plating department in the Spark Plugs unit of Bosch's Naganathapura plant accidently caught fire in the morning of March 25, 2015. As a safety measure, the work in the unit has been temporarily discontinued and would be resumed during the day. There has been no injury or loss to human life on account of the fire.
The Company is currently ascertaining the extent of damage in the plating department due to this fire. However, it does not foresee any major financial impact on account of the fire. The entire unit is adequately covered under insurance.
