Bajaj Auto gains on unveiling Pulsar RS 200 bike

Bajaj Auto is currently trading at Rs 2009.25, up by 7.50 points or 0.37% from its previous closing of Rs 2001.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 2010.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2016.10 and Rs. 1978.00 respectively. So far 33779 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2690.00 on 24-Nov-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1844.00 on 20-May-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2042.55 and Rs. 1976.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 58162.77 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 50.02% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 25.76% and 24.20% respectively.

In a bid to gain leadership in the Super Sports segment, Bajaj Auto has unveiled Pulsar RS 200 bike, priced at Rs 1,18,500 and Rs 1,30,268 for the non ABS and ABS versions respectively, ex-showroom Maharashtra. The company is planning to sell 2,500 units per month of Pulsar RS 200.

Bajaj Auto is a $2.3 billion company founded in 1926. It is world’s fourth largest two and three-wheeler manufacturer. Bajaj Auto has three plants in all, two at Waluj and Chakan in Maharashtra and one plant at Pant Nagar in Uttaranchal.
