Kalpataru Power Transmission reports 20.64% decline in Q3 net profit

Kalpataru Power Transmission has reported 20.64% decline in net profit for the quarter ended December 31, 2011 at Rs 40.30 crore. The company had posted net profit of Rs 50.78 crore in the corresponding period last financial year. The company’s total income during the third quarter decreased by 0.55% to Rs 800.81 crore from Rs 805.21 crore in the year-ago period.
