Hero MotoCorp reports 1.47% rise in March sales

The country’s largest two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp has reported 1.47% rise in its total sales at 5,31,750 units in March 2015 as compared to 524,028 units sold in the same month last year. For the financial year ended March 31, 2015, the company sold 66,31,826 units, up 6.2 per cent from 62,45,960 units sold in 2013-14 fiscal.

Hero MotoCorp is the World’s single largest two-wheeler motorcycle company. Honda Motor Company of Japan and the Hero Group entered a joint venture to setup Hero Honda Motors in 1984. Hero Honda Motors changed its name to Hero MotoCorp following the exit of its erstwhile Japanese promoter, Honda, from the company.
