Apollo Tyres’ Q3 consolidated net declines 18%

Apollo Tyres has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2011.

The company has posted a fall of 21.37% in its net profit to Rs 42.54 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011 as compared to Rs 54.10 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income has increased by 45.88% to Rs 2093.72 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1435.22 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2010.

On the consolidated basis, the company has posted a drop of 18.38% in its net profit at Rs 98.04 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011 as compared to Rs 120.12 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income has increased by 36.14% at Rs 3231.55 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 2373.73 crore year ago.
