GMR Infrastructure, part of GMR Group - has increased its subsidiary companies in accordance with the provisions of the Companies Act, 1956. GMR Male Retail, GMR Airport (Global), GMR Infrastructure Overseas and Radhapriya Properties have become subsidiary companies of GMR Infrastructure.

The GMR Group is a Bangalore-headquartered global infrastructure major with interests in Airports, Energy, Highways and Urban Infrastructure. GMR Infrastructure is the holding company for the infrastructure business of the GMR group.

The company has posted a growth of 344.07% in its net profit of Rs 75.98 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011 as compared to Rs 17.11 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has surged by 196.79% from Rs 144.56 crore for Q3FY11 to Rs 429.04 crore in the quarter under review.

On the consolidated basis, the group has posted a net loss after tax and minority interest and share of profit from associates of Rs 107.95 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011 as compared to a net loss of Rs 22.25 crore in the same quarter last year. Total income of the company improved by 49.17% to Rs 2094.45 crore for the quarter compared to Rs 1404.09 crore in the quarter, year ago.
