Gujarat State Petronet has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2011.
The company has posted a fall of 20.74% in its net profit to Rs 126.13 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011 as compared to Rs 159.13 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income has increased by 2.38% to Rs 291.32 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 284.55 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2010.
Gujarat State Petronet is a subsidiary Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC). It has the taken initiative in developing energy transportation infrastructure in Gujarat and connecting major natural gas supply sources and demand markets.
