Kalpataru Power commences commercial operations of Satpura Transmission line

Kalpataru Power Transmission has commenced commercial operations of its second transmission line BOOT project. The transmission line project has been setup for evacuation of 2X250 MW state power project at Satpura in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The project scope involves design, financing, construction and commissioning and operation and maintenance of 240 kms of 400 KV transmission line.

The company would own the project for 25 years with an extension of 10 years. It has won this BOOT project with the quoted grant of Rs 60.75 crore. The second of its kind project executed by company within record time of 16 months through its SPV namely Kalpataru Satpura Transco. The project will generate annuity revenues of approximately Rs 38 crore per annum.
