Apollo Hospitals soars on registering 41% jump in Q3 net profit

Apollo Hospitals is currently trading at Rs. 625.50, up by 6.85 points or 1.11% from its previous closing of Rs. 618.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 622.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 637.75 and Rs. 610.00 respectively. So far 104135 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 716.90 on 05-Dec-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 432.30 on 24-Jun-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 637.75 and Rs. 602.95 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 8406.85 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 33.10% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 34.44% and 31.15% respectively.

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2011.

The company has posted a rise of 41.13% in its net profit to Rs 64.65 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011 as compared to Rs 45.81 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 19.67% to Rs 725.13 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 605.95 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2010.
