BS, a premier EPC and turnkey services provider in the power transmission & distribution sector, has won an EPC contract for construction of 765 KV double-circuit transmission line between Raipur (Chattisgarh) and Wardha (Maharashtra). The value of the order is Rs 250 crore and the near 178 km line project is to be completed within the next 12 months.
The scope of work for company comprises survey, foundations, erection, earthing and stringing of lines, induding supply of tower and related accessories.
The company has a tower manufacturing facility with an installed capacity of 240,000 tonnes a year and a backward integrated structural steel mill with an installed capacity of 120,000 tonnes a year located near Hyderabad.
