Supreme Industries gains on reporting 75% rise in Q3 consolidated net profit

Supreme Industries is currently trading at Rs. 665.10, up by 4.95 points or 0.75% from its previous closing of Rs. 660.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 663.45 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 690.05 and Rs. 642.35 respectively. So far 45565 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 745.00 on 10-Apr-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 425.00 on 29-May-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 694.95 and Rs. 641.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 8418.71 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 49.71% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 27.97% and 22.32% respectively.

Supreme Industries has posted a rise of 73.29% in its net profit at Rs 96.09 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015 as compared to Rs 55.45 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.  Total income from operations of the company has increased by 14.53% at Rs 1151.73 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1005.64 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2014.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 75.23% rise in its net profit after taxes and minority interest at Rs 102.23 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015 as compared to Rs 58.34 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 14.53% at Rs 1151.78 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1005.63 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2014.
