Marico has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2015.
The company has posted a fall of 20.55% in its net profit at Rs 140.72 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015 as compared to Rs 177.12 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, Total income of the company has increased by 9.41% at Rs 1061.78 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 970.48 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2014.
On consolidated basis, the company has posted a rise of 23.95% in its net profit after taxes, minority interest and share of profit of associates at Rs 110.04 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015 as compared to Rs 88.78 crore for the corresponding quarter in the FY14. Total income of the company has rose 14.73% at Rs 1245.01 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1085.20 crore for the same quarter ended previous year.
For the year ended March 31, 2015, the company has posted a fall of 5.55% in its net profit at Rs 545.17 crore as compared to Rs 577.20 crore for the same period in the previous year. However, total income of company increased 23.08% at Rs 4822.00 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 3917.82 crore for the period ended March 31, 2014.
For the year ended March 31, 2015, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted a rise of 18.15% in its net profit after taxes, minority interest and share of profit of associates at Rs 573.46 crore as compared to Rs 485.38 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of company has increased by 22.07% at Rs 5791.87 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 4744.72 crore for the period ended March 31, 2014.
