In a bid to sell its products on the e-commerce platform, JK Lakshmi Cement has tied up with Snapdeal. While the deal provides ease of access, customers have to order a minimum of 10 bags (of 50 kg each) of cement.
JK Lakshmi is the first cement company to tie up with an e-commerce firm for selling products online. To start with, the products would be delivered in the northern and eastern states.
Besides cement, the company will also offer plaster of paris (PoP), ready-mix concrete and autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) blocks and gypsum plaster online.
JK Lakshmi Cement is engaged in the manufacturing of grey cement at its plants located at Sirohi, Rajasthan and at Kalol, Gujarat.
