Jet Airways enters into codeshare partnership with Air Seychelles

Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline has entered into a codeshare partnership with Air Seychelles, the national airline of the Republic of Seychelles, to offer enhanced connections on their respective networks. The agreement heralds an era of closer cooperation between the two airlines which, in subsequent months, will include reciprocal frequent flyer programmes, cargo handling, and expansion of codeshare arrangements.

Jet Airways will place its ‘9W’ code on Air Seychelles’ four per week flights between Mumbai and Mahe as well as the carrier’s flights to Abu Dhabi and Johannesburg. In turn, Air Seychelles will place its ‘HM’ code on Jet Airways’ domestic services from Mumbai to Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Kochi, and Thiruvananthapuram, and also on Jet Airways’ international services between Abu Dhabi and Mumbai.

Jet Airways currently operates a fleet of 116 aircraft, which include a mix of state-of-the-art Boeing 777-300 ERs/Airbus A330-200/300 aircraft, Next Generation Boeing 737s and ATR 72-500/600s, and has one of the youngest fleet in the region with an average of 5.99 years.
