After a positive response to their recent venture into e-commerce, Tara Jewellers is strengthening its presence in the online space by offering their latest jewellery collection on Snapdeal, India’s biggest online marketplace. Tara Jewellers, through its distributor, has tied up with Snapdeal to launch the brand’s new collections on their portal. The decision to put its jewellery online had been prompted by shifting consumer behavior and increasing comfort of consumers with the medium.
Tara Jewels plans to tap consumers in Tier I, Tier II & Tier III markets in India through its online presence. It plans to generate not only repeat sales from its retail customers but also add newer customers from areas where the company does not have a retail presence.
