One of India's largest infrastructure companies Reliance Infrastructure has posted a 151% year-on-year increase in net profit to Rs 415.82 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011. The company’s net profit for the third quarter last fiscal stood at Rs 165.72 crore. The company’s Total operating income increased by 73% to Rs 4477.73 crore in the third quarter of FY12 from Rs 2588.89 crore in the three months ended December 31, 2010.
On consolidated basis group has posted a 0.76% year-on-year increase in net profit to Rs 408.32 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011. The company’s net profit for the third quarter last fiscal stood at Rs 405.25 crore. The company’s total operating income increased by 67% to Rs 6130.25 crore in the third quarter of FY12 from Rs 3666.19 crore in the three months ended December 31, 2010.
