MEP Infrastructure gets rights to collect user fee through Fee Collecting Agency

MEP Infrastructure Developers (MEP) has been awarded by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) the rights for collection of user fee through Fee Collecting Agency on the basis of competitive bidding though e-tender for Paduna Toll Plaza at Km 311.10 for the section Km 278.00 to km 348.000 (Udaipur-Kherwada) of NH No 8, in the state of Rajasthan. The company has executed a contract agreement on May 11, 2015 with NHAI.

The operation has commenced from May 12, 2015 and the period of the contract is one year. The contractual amount for the said project is Rs 100.08 crore payable to NHAI on a weekly basis over the period of one year.

MEP Infrastructure Developers is engaged in tolling operations of the road infrastructure sector, with a pan-India presence. MEP Infra is in the business of pure toll collection projects as well as OMT projects, which involve maintenance obligations in addition to toll collection on operational roads (including highways) constructed by third parties.
