The Exchange had sought clarification from Motherson Sumi Systems with respect to news article appearing in The Economic Times on May 15, 2015 titled ‘Motherson Sets Sights on Overseas Deals’. Motherson Sumi Systems replied stating that the telephonic interview was held with the correspondent post declaration of results of March 15 and Vision 2020 . Being an OEM supplier and growing company, we have been evaluating acquisition opportunities , some of these materialize and some may not. They have maintained consistent view saying that we evaluate the acquisition opportunities and only when they materialize, they make announcements with complete details. In this particular case, the question was whether the group is currently evaluating any acquisitions, to which Sehgal responded that we are evaluating three of them and he also informed that there is possibility that none of these work.
