Tata Motors unveils GenX Nano at Rs 2.10 lakh

Tata Motors has commercially launched the GenX Nano priced at Rs 2.10 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). The automatic version (equipped with automatic manual transmission) of the car is priced at Rs 2.80 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai) thus making it the cheapest automatic car in the country.

Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 was the cheapest of the lot priced at Rs 426,285 (ex-showroom, Mumbai). The new version of the mini car, which has had a troubled past, will replace all the existing version of the Nano with the exception of the CNG variant.

Tata Motors is India's largest automobile company, is the leader in commercial vehicles in each segment, and among the top in passenger vehicles with winning products in the compact, midsize car and utility vehicle segments. It is also the world's fourth largest truck and bus manufacturer.
